Camps Bay Beach
Why this place
Camps Bay brings a broad sandy beach together with the mountain backdrop of the Twelve Apostles. Cafés across the road make it easy to plan a pause away from the sand, while the tidal pools near Maiden’s Cove offer a different coastal stop. It is a sociable beach setting with plenty to look at even if you do not swim.
Bring a hat, water and a layer for the wind, and take care crossing the road between the beach and cafés. Check current lifeguard advice and water conditions before swimming. Keep belongings close and arrange your return transport. If eating nearby, confirm halal arrangements at the venue rather than assuming every café can accommodate them.
