Who you are booking with
Salaam’s Cape Town is a project by The Muslim Agency. It celebrates the history and heritage of Cape Town, and has done since 2023, organising bespoke tours, retreats and excursions. We work closely with local businesses and historians, and support them.
When you book an excursion on this site, your booking is with The Muslim Agency. The payment page says so too. The way to reach us is info@salaamscapetown.com.
Booking and paying
- Prices are per person, in pounds sterling. Figures shown in other currencies are a guide. Your card is charged in pounds.
- Stripe takes the payment. Your card number and security code never reach us.
- Your place is confirmed once payment is received. We email a confirmation and the booking appears in My trip.
- Every excursion has a book-by date and a set number of places. While you pay, we hold your places for 30 minutes. If a payment arrives after the last place has gone, we refund it in full straight away.
- One booking covers up to six people. Adding the names of the people coming with you is optional.
On the day
Each excursion page gives the meeting point, the start time, what is included and what is not. Please be at the meeting point by the start time. If a detail changes before the day, we email everyone who has booked.
If plans change
If we cancel, you get a full refund. If you cancel 28 days or more before the start, you get a full refund. Inside 28 days you can ask us to pass your place to someone you have found. The refunds page has the detail.
Comments
Comments on excursion pages can be read by anyone and show your first name. Keep them kind and useful to the others coming. We remove anything that is not.
The guide
The pages on where to eat, pray, stay and visit are checked against sources, and things change: opening hours, prices, halal certificates. Confirm on the day.
If these terms change
A booking keeps the terms it was made under. A change to this page applies to bookings made after it.
