The coast around Green Point and Mouille Point makes a relaxed setting for watching the light change over the Atlantic. You can enjoy the open view without a climb, choosing a short promenade walk or a place to sit according to your group’s energy. Green Point Park works well earlier in the afternoon, followed by the sea-facing promenade when you want to be closer to the water.
Check the day’s sunset and weather before leaving; the useful viewing time changes through the year and cloud can hide the final light. Pack a layer because the coast can feel much cooler than the city. Stay on established public paths, give waves space and agree a convenient ride pick-up point. Finish the park portion before its gates close, then use the promenade for the coastal part.
