Caledon in the Overberg has a kramat too, the grave of Sayed Abdul Kader. Local people say it is protected: in the worst floods of the area, this spot has never been under water.

When the road was built, the story goes, the authorities tried several times to cut it through the grave and could not. In the end they built the bridge on the Caledon road beside it instead.
