Green Point Park is a pleasant choice for a less demanding outdoor day, especially when your group wants a stroll rather than a mountain climb. The biodiversity garden invites you to look closely at local planting, while paths and open lawns offer room to pause. Its position near the stadium makes it easy to combine with the wider Green Point area without committing to a long drive across the peninsula.
Bring water, sun protection and a light picnic, and keep track of the park’s gate-closing time. The park and the coastal promenade are separate spaces: for a sea-facing sunset, continue towards Mouille Point while it is still light. Take a warm layer for the wind and arrange your journey home in advance, particularly if you are staying for the last of the light.
