Browse the Waterfront’s shops and make room for the harbour, the Aquarium or a walk along the water in the same visit.

Century City

An indoor shopping stop in Century City, with stores for fashion, homeware and everyday essentials.

Opening: Daily 9am to 9pm.

Granger Bay, V&A Waterfront

A weekend market for fresh produce, local food and a slow breakfast near the harbour. There is a seasonal Wednesday evening market too.

Opening: Saturday 8am to 2.30pm; Sunday 8.30am to 2.30pm. Wednesday evening 4pm to 9.30pm, closed during June and July.

Halal arrangements vary by stall. Confirm with the individual kitchen.

Queen Victoria Street, City Bowl

A central garden for a shaded pause, with museums and the Iziko Planetarium close by.

Opening: Daily: September to March 7am to 7pm; April to August 7am to 6pm.

Opening: Tuesday to Sunday, with timed shows. Iziko lists building access from 8am to 4pm, with winter weekend opening at 8.30am.
